17:23, 6 September 2016, Russell Treleaven <address@hidden>:
If you call a sip uri like sip:address@hidden your call should not even go through your proxy unless you specifically route it through your proxy.

Except that I was on 3g not behind a router.

On the same Linphone Android client I had 2 proxies connected. One of them works (pbxes.org), one of them not (flexisip).

Your issue is nat traversal.

I have my Linphone client registered to two proxies... Linphone and pbxes.

I have a brother who is setup on sip2sip in South Africa (I'm in Europe). I am able to call him on his sip2sip address from my pbxes address, but if I try to call from the Linphone address / Proxy the phone will ring on the other side (at least I hear a ringing tone) but zero audio (him or me).

I had my Linphone profile using TLS to start with, changed that to UDP without any success.

Also wondering how much my Linphone profile matters if the Linphone flexisip proxy is talking with the sip2sip proxy.
Does the Linphone profile determine how the comms with the remote proxy is going to be attempted?

Is there a way to run a debug mode to find the problem faster than guesswork?
