[Linphone-users] android: direct dial uri ?

linphone on android. How do I dial by uri ?  For instance, dial 
address@hidden or sip:address@hidden . I've tried with and 
without the "sip:" prefix. Nothing happens: no ring, nothing. 
Eventually, "Unknown error: request timeout "

address@hidden works from firefox .

Can you direct dial a uri ?

Calls to an asterisk server work correctly.
