[Linphone-users] 16kHz Audio Support

Hello,

I see that there has been some work in cvs to add 16kHz speex support. How 
hard would it be to add support for other wideband codecs? I'm running on an 
ARM, so I'm thinking just PCMU at 16kHz would be enough to get me going. 
Would it be as easy as duplicating all the PCMU 8k code in mediastreamer and 
oRTP, changing all the 8's to 16's and giving it a new rtp payload number?
