https://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=4365Well, I have been planning (and I should have the time this weekend) to expand the patch for this issue to cover all of is_[derived_]smob and [derived_]unsmob since they are so closely related. Although I would prefer to break it up into smaller pieces, I'm not sure I can find a way to do that in the time I'm willing to spend searching. If you find a chunk to chip off in issue 4377, go right ahead, and thank you.
