this should be good enough in the documentation context where the 3 ways of associating text to lyrics are presented.
then the use of the command/keyword \lyricmode for the assignment of text to a variable could be explained here, too, but I don't think it's necessary (it is explained in 2.1.2 Techniques specific to lyrics)
