Still haven't had a chance to test the MSVC branch.
MinGW32 compilation seems to be OK with latest mainline, but I'm seeing issues with the tests (which I don't think I'll have a chance to look into):

1. The nrg test fail on when 'make test' is invoked from the top dir:
