Re-sorting the whole list regularly would be horribly wasteful of CPU
time. Possibly it can be solved by removing and re-inserting list items
that change their download state? (The ideal sorting column here would
be the status column, which could also further take into account the
file name as a secondary sort column.)

It could also be solved by hiding inactive downloads, much like the
server list hides disconnected servers, but I like the original idea
better...
