Erhm ... oops ... Well ... no ... OK adding SSH_AUTH_SOCK to my
chroot'ed user in /etc/jailkit/jk_chrootsh.ini, solved the problem. It
really works great now.

Should I write an amendment to your SSH howto about ssh agent forwarding?
