Hi All,
I am very new to CVS, and would like to practice on it at home...I was
thinking that at the same time I can also learn a new OS, so I am
wondering if I should maybe try installing a version of Linux, or UNIX
on a home desktop machine. I am looking for suggestions as to which OS
I should install. I have never used any Linux before. At work he have
Solaris, and I have only basic knowledge as a user of it, but we will
be converting to AIX at the end of the year... either way I am
basically just trying to widen my skill set, any advice would be
greatly appreciated. One final thing, I need to get up and running on
CVS very quickly, as I will be the new CVS administrator in my
department.
Thank in Advance,
hf
