My apologies is this is off topic - I did not see the start of the "Multisite CVS" thread.
Two comments:
(1) the right way to do multisite / multi-repository version control is
the way BitKeeper seems to do it. Necessary primitive: "merge
RCS files", with options for what to do when 2 versions with the
same numerical version number are not identical.
(2) The --CVSADM option that I recently announced to this list
is baby step. One workspace/sandbox can be connected to
two different repositories. I've given the patch to a few people
to try out.
