Dear Ricardo,
I am also using igraph on spatial networks, coming from GIS datasets. I keep my processing disconnected, through, and read in pajek formatted .net files for hte networks, which I process in a custom made JAVA program. I would be curious if you find an approach directly reading for instance SHP files through rgdal, but the workflow outlined gives me more control about what is happening - the construction and logic of the network topology can vary greatly in GIS datasets.

Hope this helps,
Martin

Hello everyone I am new in using igraph, I have a question you may igraph
helped with another package as Rgdal networks can work with real data coming
from or GIS data, such as cities.

thanks for your answers

Hi Ricardo,

I'm afraid you'll have to explain this a little better, because I have
no idea what you want to ask.
