[igraph] What does "transitivity = 0" mean?

Hi,

my observation over graph shows that there are some connected
neighbors for some node. .when I measure the global transitivity of my
graph, I get zero ("0"). I am not sure but is it due to the fact that
the underlying graph is "disconnected" ?
if more probably not, so what are the other elements which causes zero
transitivity?
