It all depends on the image and/or document in question.  If you send an
actual image that fails and the actual document calling it, we could
take a look.

    photoshop and netbpm utils give same errors.

I doubt that photoshop and netpbm are both producing invalid eps :).  So
most likely the problem is somehow in the Texinfo document.
