Is anything being done to make stow a little faster/more efficient when
doing a stow -D?
The entire reason I use stow is that it makes it easy to remove and/or
upgrade packages, but this is really insane. By the time it was
finished it was up to about 700M usage.
I know this is because its doing really clever stuff about folding links,
but still...
PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND
13420 root 19 0 445M 445M 992 R 99.1 50.6 4:59 stow
4808 root 9 0 1528 1492 1104 S 0.3 0.1 0:28 sshd
13444 mlogan 10 0 944 944 728 R 0.3 0.1 0:00 top
Nonetheless, stow rules, but I was just wondering if anyone else finds
this bothersome.
