Octave could really use the publicity. Maybe one of these days we'll
get together some cohesive Octave Foundation or something of the sort
to promote the software and manage its finances (or even, give it
finances to manage).
  

Yes, I was hoping maybe to see an Octave booth, or even a booth with some other
software that had Octave in it showing it off. I haven't look at the vendors yet, but
I suspect Matlab will be there.
