Hullo All,
Are there any vibration analysis tools available for Octave?

Anything for matlab that doesn't use simulink should work with Octave..

I have a matlab function written specifically for ISO2631 analysis, but it fails when used in Octave, producing NaNs. I am not familiar enough with Octave to find out why, but have translated it to run without obvious error in Rlab. What I now need is confirmation that it is producing correct results, hence my quest for a VDV analysis function. An alternate would be a sample acceleration-time history with known VDV, sample rate etc that I use to for validation.

So try

http://www.google.com/search?q=vibration+analysis+matlab

and pick one that meets your needs..

A lot of commercial tools, but nothing seen there that handles VDV.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
