Do you have a link to this level set toolbox?

Do you have octave-forge (http://octave.sf.net) installed? In the 2.1.x 
series addpath is not included (I can't remember if it's in 2.9.x).
If you don't have octave-forge you should be able to install it the same
way you installed octave.
