I am not certain, because neither work on my system.

Since this word appears in the area of symbols used for
making the plots, I think 'house' refers to a pentagon
shaped symbol that has the appearance of a small building.
Looks like a small house.  

I did a search on google for "symbol there exists" and it
evidently has significance, but I could not find out.  

I would guess that it is like the mathematical symbol for
"there exists", or that it is like an asterisk, but many
more pooints.
