They are bugs, so send reports about them to the bug-octave mailing
list, at address@hidden But first, please check to see
whether the bugs you are reporting have been fixed in the current
version of the manual distributed with the latest 2.1.x version of
Octave. I will try to keep that version on the web at octave.org.
