printing

I am having a problem with octave.  I have downloaded it and I am not sure if I am using it right.  I cannot find a print command.  I need to print my homework for school, and I do not have the option of printing.  I may be using octave wrong.  I cannot save or print.  When I downloaded it, there was an Icon that appeared on my desktop, and that is where I clicked.  It does what I need it to do, but I cannot print it.  Please help.
