The instructions on http://homepage.mac.com/persquare/octave.html say
they don't work on 10.1, so I try it anyway.
The final link (c++ ...... -o octave) dies with
/usr/bin/ld: multiple definitions of symbol ___vt_t3Map1Z12octave_value
../src/liboctinterp.a(variables.o) private external definition of
___vt_t3Map1Z12octave_value in section (__DATA,__coalesced)
../src/liboctinterp.a(Map-tc.o) definition of
___vt_t3Map1Z12octave_value in section (__DATA,__const)
/usr/bin/ld: multiple definitions of symbol ___vt_t5CHMap1Z12octave_value
../src/liboctinterp.a(variables.o) private external definition of
___vt_t5CHMap1Z12octave_value in section (__DATA,__coalesced)
../src/liboctinterp.a(Map-tc.o) definition of
___vt_t5CHMap1Z12octave_value in section (__DATA,__const)
Does that mean anything to anyone? I don't know enough C++ to
understand what "private external" definitions are.
