KMatplot vs GNUplot

KMatplot looks to be a very nice alternative to gnuplot.  It still needs
some more octave hooks like defining titles and labels, but it is well
done.  You can titles and labels from with in kmatplot. Worked out of
the box for me. Check out http://kmatplot.sourceforge.net/
