|Subject:||installing source files under Windows|

I have installed a pre-compiled version of Octave running under Windows and it works perfectly. Now I would like to install the source files so that I can compile dynamically linkable libraries. Where do I have to install the source files, so that I can use mkoctfile?
By the way, is there any other explanation of dynamic linking beside the one in the Octave Manual?
