octave emacs mode

I use octave emacs mode with xemacs version 21.1.
Every now and then, the following error message
pops up:

(161) (warning/warning) Error caught in `font-lock-pre-idle-hook'


Does anyone know how to get rid of this (sorry, I realize
this may be more of an emacs problem)?
