The parametric version of fsolve

Hello!

I am the bigginer of Octave.
I am using the Octave version 2.0.14 in linux.(It does not support the
parametric version).

I woul like to know parametric version of fsolve is supported or not in
the latest version of Octave.

I searched the old archive mail about parametric version of fsolve. It
seems to me that it is supported.
Under condition that it is supported, to get the parametric function, do
I compile again with file?
