N-dims array

Hi,

and thanks for the greate octave. 

I read in the todo list that N-dimensional arrays are planned. In y work
(computational fluid mechanics) we use often three dimensional
fields/array. So, Im interested to know if it is near future/in
developement, or maybe  it is planned for only for later releases ?
