Hi Russ,
You can always install the RPM with the --nodeps or --force option,
octave should find gnuplot in /usr/local/bin. Else get the latest
stable rpms from:
ftp://ftp.falsehope.com/home/pierre/octave
ftp://ftp.falsehope.com/home/pierre/gnuplot
