Halo,
My name is Dorel Pica and I intend to use the program OCTAVE, but
unfortunately I haven't had experience on this. Because that I couldn't
find the source code for this program. I tried to find an executable
file or a setup program but my research on Internet was unsuccessfully.
I've got a file cdk.exe which contains a lot of files after
installation... between these files I've found an executable file named
wish 42 and a main folder called GNUWIN32 . I'm afraid that is not the
file who I really need. I've to mention that I am using Windows 95.
I've got this file from
ftp://ftp.che.wisc.edu/pub/octave/BINARIES/gnu-win32/
Could you tell me if that is the program who I need , because all
commands from Octave documentation are not executed with this . I've got
Octave Documentation in HTML format by ftp from the OCTAVE home page
(www.che.wisc.edu/octave/)
If you can help me to find a location from where I can download an
Octave Tutorial I'll appreciate it very much.
I need this program because I started to build a project which consists
in very many mathematical computations, graphics and so on...
Thank you very much and I'm sorry about any inconvenience which I might
create to you.
Sincerely
Dipl.Eng. Dorel Pica
