system error from Octave 2.1.14 for OS/2

Dear Klaus Gebhardt:

I have a problem with Octave 2.1.14 for OS/2 (Patchlevel 2.1.14-b02).
I get the following system error when I try to run a .m file from 
Octave session:

 SYS2070: The system could not demand load the application's segment.
 HISTO->OCTAVE1.3021 is in error.

How can I resolve this?
(I'm using OS/2 Warp 4 with fixpack 11.)
