qz is missing

In tzero.m & tzero2.m,function 'qz' is used.
But I can not find out this function in
control directory.
In ls-R no information is found about 'qz'.
The version of octave is 2.0.13.
OS is linux.
OCST is OCST-ss-980904.
I am using qzval as an alternative.
I modifiy tzero.m tzero2.m to use qzval.
Advise me please.
