Today I saw that a colored indicator bar gets drawn without distortions
on Xubuntu 20.04 (using Xfce Terminal 0.8.9.1 and libvte version 0.60).
On MX Linux 19 (Patito Feo, using Xfce Terminal 0.8.8 and libvte 0.54)
paging up and down still causes a mess.
Looking through VTE's git repo, commit b8756bef from October 2018
("Always draw entire rows") seems the most likely to have fixed this.
Which would mean that libvte from version 0.55 should work fine.
Okay, I will add a configurable color for the scrollbar. If you wish,
you can post a feature request on Savannah.
