RE: make failed

Rick is correct; you really need to contact the developers of the Arachne 
software to get an equitable answer.

In the mean time perhaps you can try debugging the makefile a bit?
>From what you've sent it is failing in the "depend" target (line 450).
It looks like depend's pre-requisites (MakeDepend and checkLock) got made 
(double check that the $(BIN)/MakeDepend and checkLock executables got built)
So I'm guessing it failed while actually running the MakeDepend part of the 
recipe.  Perhaps by changing line 452 in the makefile to remove the '@' might 
help you see what MakeDepend is doing and perhaps find the problem.
