Dear Sir,

 

Thanks for ur solution, I am facing one more problem that

 

after installation of oracle 8.0.5 on intel solaris 8 while running root.sh in root user it is giving error as

 

ORACLE_HOME does not match the home directory for oracle8

 

all environment setting is available like

 

ORACLE_OWNER=oracle8

ORACLE_SID=ORCL

ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/oracle8/app/oracle/product/8.0.5

 

 

after displaying this environment it will ask u to enter as y

 

it says that

"ENTER FULL PATHNAME OF THE LOCAL BIN DIRECTORY [usr/bin] :

 

pls.. tell me which path to enter

 

I have tried giving all bin directory path it is not accepting.

 

please do the needful (most urgent)
