GRUB2 sysbootline truncated to 255 characters

Hello,

When I create a GRUB2 menu entry for a multiboot, the sysbootline gets 
truncated to 255 characters.
is there any way to increase this limit? Is it possible to do without 
rebuilding GRUB?
