you watned the first sector of /dev/ad1s1c (captured from inside BSD)


This should be what you want, right?

[root@ /mnt/stick]# dd if=/dev/ad1s1c of=/www/adam.gs/ad1s1c bs=512 count=1

Thanks, it do seem a little wired, it shouldn't be blank. Which os do
you use to create the partition map ?

I was doing my standard "repeat all steps, wash rinse repeat" and now it works.
At least to the point of installing :)

going to screw around a bit more and see what i can work out :)
