What version of LilyPond have you downloaded?  I think that the latest
Red Hat 7.1 packages do not use libguile.so.5.

Have a look at

    ftp://ftp.lilypond.org/pub/LilyPond/binaries/RedHat

and get LilyPond-1.4.2 for Redhat 7.1 binaries.
