Make sure your inetd daemon has an active gnats record. Once that's
confirmed (and you've reloaded the inetd configuration), make sure you
can telnet to your localhost port 1529. I'm going to my GNATS server in
this example:
[23:49:01] address@hidden (544)$ telnet ydalir.wk 1529
Trying 192.168.5.254...
Connected to ydalir.wk.
Escape character is '^]'.
200 ydalir.wk GNATS server 4.0 ready.
QUIT
201 Later.
Connection closed by foreign host.
After you confirm that gnatsd is indeed running, then you can start to
debug why gnatsweb, the CGI front-end, is having problems.
