Ough. This is an old problem that is fixed from time to time. Then, gcc gets
more picky and my old fixes do not work any more (or similar). Yes, Henning
is right, it is a 32 bit problem and is highly architecture dependent. Could
you tell me the sizeof(size_t) on your architecture?
