There is no need for that if you use EmacsW32.C:\Programme\Emacs\EmacsW32\gnuwin32\bini am using the following emacsW32 version GNU Emacs 23.0.60.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600) of 2008-03-25 on LENNART-69DE564 (patched) thanks and greetings from munich christian
