No excuses!!! "http://www.newzbot.com/";... Ok, maybe it is helpful.
Also, you can also post by several web gateways and I am pretty sure
that there is a mailing list that gates to gnu.emacs.gnus.

I believe that I am using Gnus on Linux (with Emacs 21.1) and an Imap
server. I just tried it out on NT with Emacs 21.2. The first thing
to do is start Gnus. You should end up in the group buffer. Then hit
the magic `^' key. This should take you to the server buffer. Type
`a' to add a group. The method is "nnimap" and the server is the
fully qualified domain name of your server. You can also use "(setq
nnimap-expunge-on-close 'never)".

Hit return on the new group and type in your id and password. Save
your password and subscribe to the new group. This works on the MS
Exchange IMAP server I have to access. You can look at several web
pages on the Web. Google "Kai nnimap install" for a start.

Just in case, you know that you can hit control G to stop anytime it
seems to hang. You can look at the buffers to see what kind of output
is being sent. I had the server name wrong at first and it appears
that Gnus was taking a long time to timeout. Perhaps you have the
wrong port or server name?
