Hi Lars,

All the patches for windows that you've been sending had me wondering,
because we've made sure that guile-1.4 compiled on cygwin-1.1.4.

I just assumed that you were trying to do a new port.  But now I read:

Are you compiling on cygwin?  We've been routinely (cross-)compiling guile
for cygwin.  It's been mentioned here as well as on the cygwin mailing list.
