s/di/box/g

You might also have to play with filling or line length because
diversions store formatted text and I am not sure if unformat
removes automatic line breaks (past experience seems to indicate
it doesn't). Check the section about diversions in groff's Texinfo
manual[1]; I am not very knowledgeable in this area.
