Amen. I'm lazy too, so I try to let the computer do as much
of my work as possible.

I once had a boss tell me I was twice as productive as the
other two writers put together. While I would argue with
the number, it was true that I would script away as much
busy-work as possible. And this was on older Macs using
AppleScript. Since OSX gave me back the Unix tools I
learned so long ago, I've been able to pull miracles out
of my... back pocket. Things like sales people asking,
"um, can you get the Word file back out of this PDF? Joe
Random quit and deleted the doc file."
