I'm xtill concerned that auto-baud is not working for you, and others
with similar boards.

What kind of driver creates /dev/ttyTHS1?

If you can send me a -D4 log I can maybe see why.  Like this:

gpsd -nND 4 /dev/ttyTHS1 > tmp.log 2>&1

Let it run a minute and send the log here.
