I want to know, if I modify the raw GPS data in packet.c or in driver_nmea0183.c
will it reflects the change if I run the command gpsmon or cgps.

The bytes are parsed into sentences in packet.c. Then sent to
the corresponding diver for full decode. So a u-blox packet
gets decoded in driver_ubx.c. An NMEA 0183 packet in driver_nmea0183.c
Not in any folder, in the root. Fixing that is a TODO item.
