I did install 3.16 over 3.11 (gpsd -V returns 3.16 after a reboot), but
cgps -s never gets a fix and xgps displays:
{"class":"VERSION","release":"3.11","rev":"3.11-3","proto_major":3,"proto_minor":9}
So it appears that the old version needs to be uninstalled first. What
is the best way to do this?
Is there going to be much of an advantage to using 3.16 versus 3.11 with
the -b option? Sticking with 3.11 would be a lot easier ...
Finally, is there a way to set the GPS update rate with gpsd or any of
the gpsd related apps without stopping and restarting the gpsd service?
