If you can get the GPS over SPI to talk to some sort of /dev/ttyXXX
then gpsd will work fine. In other words, if you can find a way that
you can 'cat /dev/ttyXX' and see NMEA (or some GPS binary) then gpsd
can handle it from there.
Getting accurate time over SPI might be a challenge.
