[gpsd-users] How to identify GPS model ?

Hello,

We are developing a Linux based product that uses a GPS receiver.
The GPS is connected via the USB port and we use the gpsd module to get 
the GPS data.

We want to be able to support two different USB GPS receivers and need a 
way to identify the GPS receiver model.

Is there a way to get that GPS model information in order to identify it 
using gpsd or another library ?
