In order to start 'practical hack' on gnustep I'd like to begin with
gui + camaleon
integration (found this in TODO list).

Is someone already doing this?
Have you some suggestions/alert about this hack?

You should talk to Nicolas Roard about this and what he is doing. But I would be glad (and I think Nicholas as well) for someone to help with integrating it into GNUstep core.

Before integrating Camaelon and gnustep-gui, it is necessary to have Camaelon code in better shape and to refactor some parts of -gui… Nicolas could provide you details on what needs to be done on both Camaelon and -gui.

Latest Camaelon informations and code are available on Étoilé web site here : <http://www.dromasoftware.com/etoile/mediawiki/index.php? title=Camaelon> If you want to work on Camaelon right now, take a look at the project page : <https://gna.org/projects/etoile/> and contact Nicolas Roard <https://gna.org/users/rio>.

Cheers,
Quentin.
