Hi

we'd really like to have a few small conferences at FOSDEM 2003 with
topics centered upon GNUstep - and try to use them to advertise GNUstep a
bit to a larger public, and to put a bit of solid content at the heart of
the meeting.

We are looking for volunteers to talk at those conferences.

We are mostly looking for speakers on attractive frameworks built upon
GNUstep, such as -

 - GDL2
 - GNUstepWeb
 - StepTalk
 - ... (put your preferite development framework here)

Other possible interesting topics would/could include -

 - status/demo of Windows backend/port
 - XML-RPC/SOAP and GNUstep
 - the new text system
 - OpenGL and GNUstep
 - ... (put your preferite hot topic here)

This list is absolutely non-comprehensive, it's just what a quick list of
possible hot topics. I will give a small presentation of Renaissance
myself. Stefan Boehringer will give a small presentation too.

If you think you are interested in giving one yourself, and that you are
in a position of giving a presentation on any of these topics (or any
similar hot topic), please contact me and Nicolas Roard. Don't be shy.
:-)

The presentations will probably be quite short (ranging from 15 minute for
smaller projects, to about 30 minute for the bigger ones - depending on
how many we get there might be more time), and they are expected to be
quite informal (it's probably going to be a small room and I'm not sure we
have a projector, but we can/should ask for it).

We are looking forward to hearing from you. :-)
